WMV files are Windows Media Video files.

• Windows: You’ll have no problem playing WMV files. Make sure you have the latest version of Windows Media Player by going to the Windows Update page.
• Mac OS: Grab a copy of the free Windows Media Components for QuickTime here and read this for Mac on Intel, or read this guide for help playing WMV files in iTunes.
• Linux: Use mplayerplug-in to play WMV files within your browser. Download from SourceForge or check the packages for your distro. Fedora users should check this guide.
