The sluggish national economy, the continued downward turn of the sub-prime mortgage market and mounting geopolitical risks have prompted uncertainty among investors. As 2007 wound down, the commercial real estate market certainly was not immune to these and other economic factors. But from a broader perspective, commercial real estate fundamentals remain sound and capital continues to flow.
